The Cathedral of Strasbourg is one of the greatest masterpieces of Gothic architecture in Europe and the most iconic monument of the Alsatian capital. Built from the 12th to the 15th century the monument combines Romanesque and Gothic influences and reflects the extraordinary artistic and architectural achievements of the Middle Ages.

The cathedral also houses the famous Pillar of Angels : an extraordinary Gothic sculpture representing the Last Judgment and the power of divine creation.
