The cathedral Saint-Bénigne of Dijon is located in the historic center of Dijon. The cathedral is one of the most important religious monuments in Burgundy. Saint Bénigne is a Christian martyr of the 2nd century and his body is buried in the crypt. The site became a major pilgrimage destination during the Middle Ages.
